solutions
The control and monitoring of the air quality must be carried out with the highest precision to guarantee the suitability of the information on the pollutant parameters of the environment. ENVIRA has a long history in the development of tailored solutions for the implementation and maintenance of air quality monitoring networks.
The solution for air quality monitoring networks consists of:
Continuous monitoring
Continuous monitoring is usually done through a network formed by a set of on site or mobile stations properly isolated (thermally and acoustically) in order to ensure the suitability of the working conditions of the analyzers and auxiliary systems located inside.
These stations incorporate systems for capturing samples and automatic analyzers for measuring contaminating parameters whose characteristics may vary depending on the area, whether urban, industrial, or deep underground, etc.
According to current regulations, the most common monitored parameters are sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NO2 / NO / NOX), carbon monoxide (CO), tropospheric ozone (O3), benzene and suspended particles. (PM10 and PM2.5). It is also possible to monitor other pollutants such as volatile compounds, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), hydrogen fluoride (HF), metals (cadmium, lead …), Black Carbon, etc.
After a global analysis of the problematic object of study, the most appropriate analytical parameters and analyzers are selected to obtain accurate measurements. In addition, measures of complementary meteorological parameters are also implemented , such as wind speed and direction, temperature, relative humidity, pressure, solar radiation and precipitation.
Continuous monitoring is performed with analyzers that are based on reference methods that produce comparable results and with certified equipment that has passed strict certification tests by accredited laboratories and following the reference standards established by the authorities.
Control center: ENVIRA DS
It is the heart of any air quality network. The tasks performed are:
The control center, adapted to current legislation, incorporates the regulations into a Data Regeneration Module that includes all European legislation that is specific to each of the parameters.
Warning systems
Envira DS has a powerful system for managing situations when regulatory levels are exceeded.
These systems are customized to the specific requirements of each client, both in terms of calculation methods and information sent to interested parties.
The system allows sending personalized messages to users based on various parameters such as pollutant, affected area, etc.
Smart data validation
ENVIRA has developed an intelligent data validation tool that allows for the early detection of anomalies in the performance of quality measurement instrumentation in air quality and control networks.
This system integrates multiple data sources and additional contexts to improve validation accuracy, such as weather conditions, time of day and local events that may influence sensor readings.
Data validation allows the identification of possible anomalies in the monitoring of the pollutants analysed in order to avoid drawing incorrect conclusions about air quality.
Information for the public
Air quality monitoring networks have various information systems for the public, such as web pages, mobile applications and information panels.
These systems provide the population with updated air quality information easily, simply and visually.
The data is sent to all these systems automatically through programs specifically designed by ENVIRA.
Open and integrable solution with external developments in any layer (device level, connectivity, CLOUD or user application).
It allows unlimited number of devices that can be included in future extensions.
High reliability and availability data evaluation in real time.
Tailored system.
Total adaptation and integration with the systems of public administrations.
Creation of data history for administrations.
